Obituary for Rheta Seaburg Atherton

LeRoy: Rheta Seaburg Atherton 6/5/2012
Lifelong LeRoyan Rheta Seaburg Atherton passed away June 5, 2012. Rheta was a well-known figure around LeRoy, having worked in the former Bank of LeRoy for over 25 years, and being active in her church, the LeRoy Historical Society, and volunteering for many local activities. In 2010 she went to live with her daughter, Lorri Atherton Privitera, and was able to spend a lot of time with her granddaughter and her family in Virginia. Now, in death Rheta will join her beloved late husband Edward Taylor Atherton. Also surviving her are a son, William Edward Atherton of LeRoy; grandchildren Kristin Laurie MacKenzie (spouse Carl Orr) of Virginia, Noel Harris MacKenzie (spouse Nancy Deffenbaugh) of Ohio, and William Atherton of LeRoy; great-grandchildren James Edward and Ashley Marie MacKenzie of Ohio, and Elizabeth Ann and Catherine Margaret Orr of Virginia; a brother, Carl Seaburg of LeRoy, and sisters Jane Woeller of Fulton, New York and Betty Rowe of Clearwater, Florida.
Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy, on Friday from 4-7PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church of LeRoy.
