Obituary for Ellsworth J. "Jim" Heaman

LeRoy: Ellsworth James Heaman 7/30/2013, age 89.
Jim Heaman of LeRoy passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 30, 2013 at the Teresa House in Geneseo.
Mr. Heaman was born on June 6, 1924 in Batavia, New York to the late Robert & Ruth (Biggart) Heaman.
Following naval service in the Phillipines, Jim worked as a tool and die maker for 39 years at Lapp Insulator in LeRoy. He was an active member of the LeRoy United Methodist Church for 53 years. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle man who enjoyed being with his family and friends.
He is predeceased by a brother, Robert Heaman. Jim is survived by his loving wife Betty Phillips Heaman, daughters; Ellen (Nick) Zinni, and Jane (Ted) Darocha, grandchildren; Bethany Zinni of Rochester, Rose Zinni of Batavia, Melanie Darocha of PA, James Darocha of MA, sister; Betty Welker of LeRoy, and several nieces and nephews.
Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy on Friday from 4-7PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the LeRoy United Methodist Church, Trigon Park, LeRoy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may kindly be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Street, Geneseo, NY, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
