Raymond P. Dool
Scottsville: Raymond passed away on March 15, 2014 at the young age of 70 years. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rosemary( Haefner) Dool and his faithful companion, ‘Trixie.” Ray is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen (Harold) Litteer. His is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law; Doris (Bert) Harding, Gerald (Florence) Haefner, Richard (Peggy) Haefner, Norbert and Joan Haefner, Joan O’Neil (John), Robert Haefner, Edward and Peggy Haefner, William (Sharon) Haefner, Helen Blaszak, Thomas Haefner, Andy Haefner, Joseph (Debra) Haefner, Kathleen (Robert) Odom, Patricia Neelin and Donald Haefner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was a lifelong resident of the village of Scottsville and served on the village board and was a member of the Scottsville Fire Department. He enjoyed many years of camping with his family and yearly vacations in Florida. Raymond was greatly loved by his family and his friends and returned his love to them. He will be greatly missed by all.
His family invited you to join them in a Mass of Celebration at St. Mary’s Church, Main St. Scottsville On March 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in his name may be made to the Scottsville Ambulance, Scottsville, NY or the Golisano Children’s Hospital, Rochester, NY. Rosemary would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Buckley and Dr. Funderburk for their care and compassion extended to Raymond. Also a sincere thank you goes to Jeff Deragon for his excellent service to me at my time of need.
