Sawyer, Ellen M.
Scottsville: August 28, 2016 at age 92. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Thomas Swain; grandsons, Brian (Heidi), Jason (Susan), Kevin (Soultana) Swain; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Bus¬tin; brother, Harlan (Linda) Munn, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, William L. Sawyer and son, William L. Sawyer, Jr., brother, Arthur Sidelinger and sister, Kate Munson. Ellen was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, painting, and attending the Wheatland Senior Center. She was also an accomplished seamstress who made many wedding dresses.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11AM at the Union Presbyterian Church, 1 Browns Ave., Scottsville, NY 14546. This follows a Graveside Service at 10AM at the Oatka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union Presbyterian Church.
